Biography
<p>I have worked on Microsoft documentation teams since I first started here in Redmond in 1996. My first project was Microsoft Proxy Server 1.0. I moved on to working on the Windows Server 2000 Help team and was the writer for all the DNS, DHCP and WINS content that was done in that release. I then switched roles to become a program manager working on XML-based publishing tools for a couple years. That led me to my next job as a lead programming writer for the MSXML SDK, covering the MSXML 4.0 and 5.0 releases as well as working on SQL Server 2005 documenting HTTP SOAP services and SQLXML 4.0. I then moved back to Windows Server and managed the Active Directory writing team for a couple of years before moving back to technical writing for Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 2.0. And there you have the last 14 years of my work life in less than 200 words.</p>
