Nice Article.
Excellent summary of federation services. I would like to know if anyone has had any experinece in getting AD FS to interoperate with other NON MS Federation services.
@Clay Hagler: which non-Microsoft applications do you concern? Generally, many big companies like Oracle, SAP, Amazon, Saleforce. provide their own federation identities. You can put AD FS as a bridge connecting gap between different platforms. Basically OpenID 2.0 is commonly used.
I think that Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services can be used with ADFS as well; I've seen it somewhere on the internet, though only God knows where. Do you want me to edit the article accordingly, or am I missing Asomething? ADFS isn't my expertise, but I just wanted to let you know I saw a reference to using it with ADLDS.
