When configuring WDS, in the "Remote Installation Folder Location" phase, you may encounter the following error message:

The Filename, Directory Name, Or Volume Label Syntax Is Incorrect.



This error message appears when the hidden Administrative Shares are removed from the system. For example, in this scenario, if you execute the net share command, you can not see any entries for Administrative Shares (like: C$, D$ and so forth).
