If you regularly use the command prompt, you can pin it to the Start Menu and the Taskbar. This makes it easier to access when you need it. To pin it to the Taskbar or the Start menu, do the following steps:

  • Click Start button, type cmd in the Start Search box, then right-click on CMD, and choose Pin To Taskbar.



The result is shown in the following figure:



  • Click Start button, type cmd in the Start Search box, right-click CMD, and choose Pin To Start Menu.
