My domain is presently hosted with Microsoft and my family and I use email addresses with this domain in Hotmail plus,  (now outlook.com). It works great for them and me, but I now have over 3000 contact cards and have outgrown hotmail.

I do not want to change any email addresses or move the other family email addresses to O365, but I would like to move mine and use the existing domain for mail and website etc. (with the P1 package on O365 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/compare-plans.aspx ).

Is it possible for the two to coexist and if so, how please?
