Query Suggestions in SharePoint 2013

SharePoint 2013 supports query suggestion and is enabled by default on the search page. This feature may also be referred to as search suggestions or query completion.

Search Query Tool - There is a Search Query Tool on CodePlex that you may reference. Check out the query suggestions tab in that app.
