How to Get the Printers List for all Computers of a Domain

How to Get the Printers List for all Computers of a Domain

I have written a batch file. Push that through GPO. You will get the list in \\serverip\\share

echo off
cd \
c:
md printer
cd printer
WMIC PRINTER LIST STATUS >> %computername%.txt
copy *.txt \\serverip\\share

There is a thread in a migration forum so I thought it might help others.

  • What is GPO?

  • GPO is acronym for "Group Policy Object". Group Policies are defined in Group Policy Objects. Eventually we should link terms and acronyms like this to a glossary.
