Hello the doc for SCCM say that the password is Pass@word1, but the correct password is pass@word1, the p must be in lower case.
Anyone have difficulty with successfully creating a VM from "System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 – Service Manager – Evaluation (VHD)"? I created the VM for its DW partner just fine. The Inspect Disk action didn't raise any error/warning. And on my Win 7 Ent. (x86) machine, I successfully attached the VHD and browsed its contents. So, all looks fine based this.
When I first connected to the VM, I was prompted to change the Administrator password, which I successfully did, but that was as far as I got. The SCSM preparation wizard never launches and the desktop remains black indefinitely. Weird that I could still bring up Task Manager and see only 11 services running. I could also launch the Command Prompt, change into the "RunOnce" folder, execute "ScEvalBootstrapper.exe", which brings up the GUI, enter the required information, but nothing happens. And the VM never gets assigned an IP address when the Virtual switch is set to "Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver - Virtual Switch". Several times I have recreated the VM. What gives?
