How to Apply Exchange Service Packs and Rollups to a Computer that is Running FSE

This article explains how to manually install Exchange service packs and rollups on a computer that is running Forefront Security for Exchange (FSE).
  1. Follow the instructions provided with the specific Exchange service pack or rollup that you are installing, and install the service pack. Documentation for specific Exchange updates includes Install the Latest Update Rollup for Exchange 2010 and How to Install the Latest Service Pack or Update Rollup for Exchange 2007. Note: Some Exchange service packs and rollups require you to download and install an FSE update in order to ensure that FSE operates correctly.
  2. Verify that mail is flowing.
