One of the features which was introduced with the Forums redesign was an in-app search. This searching feature allows user to find content either in a scope of a forum (or forums) or directly on the home page with no scope. 



More weight has been put on answered threads to help you find a solution. If you are looking to answer threads, you can always search the topic in which you are an expert and filter unanswered threads. This will help you rack up your points! Still not finding what you are looking for? Once you perform your search you can scope your results to a specific forum (see How to View a Single Forum?).

 
You may also enhance your searches by using filters (see How to filter and sort content?).
