<- Back to other FAQs

New forum UI has some unique design and at times, it becomes difficult to notice new changes if you are adjusted to the old UI.

If you are looking for where is "My Forums" then you can see that under Quick Access below Ask a Question button.

When you click on My Forums, you will see a List of forums which you might have added to your 'My forums' list earlier.

Now, if you would like to Add a New Forum or Remove an Existing Forum you may follow the steps below:

Add a New Forum to My Forums:

Suppose, you would like to add Windows Server 2012 General forum to your 'My forums' list, click on drop down button from Forums List on the left (Below Quick Access) and hover your mouse pointer to Windows Server 2012 General and you would see a tooltip. Inside the tooltip click on Add to my forums which will add Windows Server 2012 General forum to your 'My Forums'.

Remove an Existing Forum from My Forums list:

Say, you would like to remove Hyper-V forum (existing forum in My Forums), click on drop down button from Forums List on the left (Below Quick Access) and hover your mouse pointer to Hyper-V and you would see a tooltip. Inside the tooltip click on Remove from my forums which will remove Hyper-V  forum from your 'My Forums'.

The older process for finding forums and adding/removing them to/from your "My Forums" list still applies. Also the steps described can still be useful to search for forums. These steps are described in MSDN/TechNet Forums: How to Add a Forum to "My Forums".
