Reporting Services-specific Help Is Not Available from SharePoint Central Administration Pages

Background

The Reporting Services Help page is not available from the SharePoint Help window on SharePoint Central Administration pages.

Workaround

  • Choose Site Settings.
  • In Site Collection Administration, select Help Settings.
  • Select Reporting Services Help and What's New.
  • Click OK.

The SharePoint Help icon will let a user access the Reporting Services Help collection when the current page is a Reporting Services-specific page such as Reporting Services Integration. A user can click the Help icon and see the Help topic Overview of Reporting Services SharePoint Integration.
