Need to clarify the table titled "RSAT Platform and Tools Support Matrix" is actually the "RSAT Platform and Tools Support Matrix for Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
Please correct the following two points in the Support Matrix for RDS:
1. Remote Desktop Services Manager should be removed since this tool does not exist in Windows 8.
2. Need to add the following note: Server Manager is included with the RSAT tools and should be used for administration of all other RDS role services except RD Gateway and RD Licensing.
In the Support Matrix Hyper-V Tools Win 8 column, we need to add a note that the Hyper-V Manager console doesn’t support managing Hyper-V servers running Server 2008 or Server 2008 R2.
At this moment (8:50 am MST, Aug. 16, 2012) it seems that the download links are down, leading to a 404 error. Is there a newer version of RSAT available? Thanks.
What happened to Remote Desktops feature. We used this a lot to manage our multiple Terminal Server environment for software updates/installs as well as troubleshooting. Am I missing something or has this been removed?
Thanks Lyle
What is the word regarding Server 2012 RSAT for Win 7 clients? Any details there?
