This event is thrown when an application causes a delay during the Windows shutdown process. This delay could be caused by operating system services, 3rd party software issues or conflicts with the operating system.
- Check with the 3rd party software company to determine if this issue is known and
if an update is available which addresses this issue
- Boot in Safe Mode and then Shut down. Problem go away? - Disable the software executable detailed in the event message. Shut down to determine if the problem goes away
