Executando aplicações 32-bit no Windows Server 2008 R2 Server Core (pt-BR)

O Windows Server 2008 R2 Server Core é exclusivamente 64 bits, porém aplicações 32 bits são suportadas.
Para que a compatibilidade de aplicações 32 bits seja mantida é importante que seja feita a instalação do componente WoW64 (Windows 32-bit on Windows 64-bit)
Sem esse recurso a execução de aplicações 32 bits podem falhar.

Para instalar o “feature” WoW64 use o comando:

dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:ServerCore-WOW64
