FIM Synchronization Service Crashing on Full Import (Stage Only)

FIM Synchronization Service Crashing on Full Import (Stage Only)

Recently I had an issue where a Full Import (Stage Only) on an Oracle Management Agent would crash the FIM Synchronization Service.   We have seen this happen with other Management Agents as well.  This specific issue was in-regards to the Oracle Management Agent.

The first thing that was noticed, is that in the Synchronization Manager Console we see that the Full Import (Stage Only) states the run was a Full Import and Delta Synchronization.

Reviewing the Application Event Log, I noticed Event ID 6060 which contained the following text: “The management agent "<name of management agent" run profile "Full Import Delta Synchronization" completed a step with errors.

Log Name:      Application
Source:        FIMSynchronizationService
Event ID:      6060
Task Category: Management Agent Run Profile
Level:         Error
Keywords:      Classic
Description:

The management agent "<name of management agent" run profile "Full Import Delta Synchronization" completed a step with errors.

The error normally appears when there is some sort of data corruption either in the Connector Space itself, or even the Management Agent.

You should be able to resolve this issue through one of the following:

  1. Delete just the Management Agent Connector Space
  2. Delete the Management Agent and the Connector Space

We were able to resolve this issue by deleting just the connector space.
