Desktop Virtualization Hour is a series of webcasts held on March 18, 2010 by Microsoft. These webcasts aimed two large goals.

Note: These webcast are based on Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services, many new enhancements are available in Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services and Citrix XenDesktop 7 since the release of these webcasts. 

1. Discuss several changes and campaigns related to Microsoft strategy on Desktop Virtualization. These changes and campaigns were first announced in News Press Release “Microsoft Accelerates Desktop Virtualization” earlier that day.
2. Provide a high-level overview of Microsoft Desktop Virtualization products and technologies and overall promote them among non-technical audience.
