What are these posters?

There's a number of files published by Microsoft that are available from Microsoft Download Center representing various posters related to Microsoft Office 2010. Each of these posters graphically displays some technical aspect related to one or more members of the Office 2010 product family and is provided in three file formats.

• Visio — editable original in Microsoft Visio Drawing (VSD) format;
• PDF — static version in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF);
• XPS — static version in Microsoft XML Paper Specification (XPS) format.

Why do we ever need this list?

There's a couple of problems existing with these posters.

1. They are hard to find all together because neither Microsoft Download Center nor any other official Microsoft website or service provides capabilities to filter, query or otherwise find all downloads of desired type related to specific content. Some people try providing their own collections of these posters (usually located on free file sharing services like Microsoft Windows Live SkyDrive). But these attempts usually fail because such collections are either
   1. incomplete. So it makes sense to take another approach and create a constantly updated list of posters maintained by both community members and Microsoft employees;
   2. and/or contain saved versions of the posters that become outdated. So it makes sense to store only links to orignal locations of the files at Microsoft Download Center so that you can always download most up-to-date posters.
2. For some of the posters only Microsoft Visio version is listed on download properties page at Microsoft Download Center. Though acually all three formats are available for every poster. So it makes sense to collect direct links to different files.

Taking into consideration both abovementioned reasons you may find it helpful to have all the links collected on a single web page. And this is exactly what this Wiki article is all about.
