Hyper-V Guest Console is a console that allows remote management of virtual machines in Hyper-V interfacing through WMI. The goal of this console is to allow certain actions on certain virtual machines to external consultants or users are allowed to run on virtual machines within their competence.

Hyper-V Guest console does not require server-side configurations for hyper-v as the Hyper-V role configures the required firewall rules are not necessary on either client configurations as WMI used connections are synchronous seeds. This application provides a console for manage VMs use within a Hyper-V guest.

With HVGC an Hyper-V guest can:
- Start VMs
- Shutdow VMs
- Suspend VMs
- Pause VMs
- Stop VMs
- Monitoring VMs (CPU Load, Memory, IS Version, Network configuration)
- Connect to VM by RDP

HVGuestConsole is develop in Visual Studio 2008 using VB.NET.

HVGuestConsole require .NET Framework version 3.5 or higher and run on Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 and later.

HVGestConsole run also in Windows 2008 R2 Core installation.
