Symptom

Consider a scenario where you are trying to add a new web listener to Forefront TMG 2010 and you receive an error (0xc0040458) as shown below:



If you click Details button you will see the explanation below:


Cause

This is an expected behavior due the amount of IP addresses already in use.

Solution

This is by design.

Workaround


Create new the new listener with the existing IPs but using a different port.
