So here’s a question for the technical community…. We are always under pressure from our bosses or senior management to come up with technical solutions to meet business requirements.
However, most of the time we are asked to come up with a solution without any test environments available, either at work or at home. Our solution is usually to create a home lab, however, that usually annoys our better halves when we put a server rack in the living room.
So my question to the Technet community is this - is there a market for a hosted test environment? Most hosting providers assume we want to pay for 99.9999% uptime, massive amounts of bandwidth and snappy recovery times. But what if you don't want that? What if you just want a server you can connect to remotely with a best efforts SLA?
I think there is a market for a hosted test lab, but I'd love to hear what the Technet community thinks?
