SharePoint 2010: System Center Service Manager 2012 Self Service Portal, Error: Access Denied

One of the most problems that you will see after New System Center Service Manager 2012 implementation that you are able to access the Self Service Portal with the Administrator account but When you try to access it using other users you got Access Denied Error

 





This happens as you did not give gives the required users access in SharePoint Site, to solve that you need to follow these steps:

1- Sign out from the Current user and Open the Self Service Portal AS SharePoint Administrator
2- From Site Actions, Navigate and Press "Site Permissions"


3- On This Page you will find This Message " This Website inherit Permissions from its Parent. (Team Site)" Press “Manage Parent”


4- On the Next Page, Press on "Grant Permissions"

5- On the Next Screen Select the Group that you allow access to the Service Manager Self Service Portal


6- Grant Read Permission to the User and Press OK


8- Now test access to Service Manager Portal again
