Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010 (TFS) is the collaboration platform at the core of Microsoft's application lifecycle management solution. TFS automates the software delivery process and gives you the tools you need to effectively manage software development projects throughout the IT lifecycle.

You can choose between different choises, for a 3-tier install select Advanced, for a stand-Alone farm select Standard Single Server

I choose for Advanced

Give the SQL Server name and test. If "ok" click then on Next

Use a service account or a user who has Administrator Rights. In my case I'm using my farm Administrator who is actually a user with Admin rights..

Test it and Next

Give a Web Server name with a Port. Choose also for a friendly Virtual Directory

You can choose to configure Reporting or not. it is NOT required.

Give the correct URL's.. If the url's are not correct you can't continue..
