Thanks !! It's helpfull !!
I have added a bubble chart with the Play field set to a Month Name similar to the Picnic demo. However, the months are in alphabetic order which is not much use for YTD. I cannot see anything in Crescent (Power View) to change the sort order so suspect it will have to be set in PowerPivot somewhere. Do you know how to do this?
Thanks
Dave
Greate question, Dave, and a common problem. Select the Month Name column and set Sort by Another Column. This is assuming you have another column with a numeric value for each month -- 1 for January, 2 for Feb, etc. More info in this topic about setting reporting properties for PowerPivot and AS tabular models so they make better Crescent reports: technet.microsoft.com/.../hh230905(SQL.110).aspx. cheers -- maggieMSFT
Maggie, the first two blue terms look like links, but they aren't links. I think they are intended to be links. Do you want to make them links, or do you want me to? Thanks! Oh and that's great that you helped someone in the comments!
